Redline ("we", "us", "our") is an AI-powered contract scanner published by AK-Labz. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.
The short version: your contracts stay on your device. We cannot read them.
Redline processes contracts entirely on your device by default. Text extraction (OCR) and AI analysis run locally. No contract text is transmitted to our servers or any third party unless you explicitly opt in to cloud-powered features available on the Pro tier.
The app works in Airplane Mode. If it doesn't work offline, our privacy promise is broken.
Redline does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide your name, email address, phone number, or any other personal information to use the app.
We collect the minimum data necessary to operate the app. We do not collect data for advertising, tracking, or profiling.
We use RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions. RevenueCat collects:
This data is used for subscription management (validating receipts, preventing fraud) and aggregated analytics (understanding which plans users choose). It is not linked to your identity and is not used for tracking.
We use Sentry to collect:
This data is used solely to diagnose and fix bugs. It is not linked to your identity and is not used for tracking.
If you use cloud-powered analysis features (available on the Pro tier), your contract text is sent to our API proxy, which forwards it to AI providers (such as OpenAI or Anthropic) for processing. These providers process the text and return results — they do not store your contract text beyond the duration of the request, per their API data usage policies.
Cloud analysis is always opt-in and requires explicit consent per scan. We do not store your contract text on our servers.
Redline uses the following third-party services:
When cloud analysis is used, contract text is processed by AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic) under their respective API data usage policies, which prohibit using API inputs for model training.
Your scan history is stored locally on your device using on-device storage. We have no access to it. If you delete the app, your scan history is deleted.
RevenueCat retains purchase records per their retention policy. Sentry retains crash data for 90 days.
Redline is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided data through the app, contact us and we will delete it.
Since we do not collect personal information and do not require accounts, there is generally no personal data for us to access, correct, or delete. If you have questions about data held by our third-party providers, you may contact them directly or reach out to us for assistance.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
